Styling a Sweater Tank for Spring

Styling a Sweater Tank for Spring | Organized Mess
I haven't gotten dressed up in months (!!) with the exception of mine and Derek's anniversary about two weeks ago. I guess I don't typically dress up that much even when things are *normal* but lately I seem to really be leaning into casual looks. Wearing sneakers on the reg is still a fairly new thing to me and I've finally found denim that I love (hello, Madewell and Agolde). I wore this outfit out and about back when we first started to hear rumors that we would have to start social distancing ourselves (not really understanding what that meant), well before stay at home orders were a thing. It always feels so weird to look back at photos from before this time, even outfit photos. I had no idea what was about to happen! I hope you and your loved ones are still safe and healthy.

I love a good layer, whether it's a printed blazer, a tie-dye sweater or a sheer button-down! This layer, despite being sheer, does add a bit of warmth for cool spring mornings and evenings but it's also fun to tie around your waist when the sun warms up the afternoon. This sheer button-down is actually a super versatile piece, I wore it in Barcelona last summer with light-wash denim and during the holidays under a faux-leather jumpsuit. Versatile pieces are always great! The sweater tank is another versatile piece. I wore one styled over a white button-down during the winter but it works great on it's own or under a layer as well.
