Um, hello November. You sure did come quickly! I can't believe my favorite month is already over. I was so excited about fall starting, I ate so many pumpkin flavored things, baked plenty of cookies and bought, possibly, too many fall scented candles. Here's a look back at the month -

Heartbeat - Carrie Underwood
Heavy In Your Arms - Florence and The Machine
Dance In The Rain - Jana Kramer
Foreigner's God - Hozier

What I ReadThe Boy in the Striped Pajamas - John Boyne
I knew this was going to be a busy month, so I didn't want to read anything too lengthy or that would take too much energy. This book is written from the perspective of a little boy so it's an easy read. The book is based during the holocaust and the boys father is a German soldier, you read about what is going on in the boys mind during this terrible time and you can see what he does/doesn't understand. He ends up befriending a Jewish boy who is on "the other side of the fence" where they chat for hours everyday for over a year. Don't let the idea that it's an easy read fool you, the book is incredibly heartbreaking and keeps you thinking about what people have endured in the past.

you have a great sense of style, I loved all of your outfits. I think the minimalist one is my favourite, which is kind of odd because I love colour. Anyhow, thank you for your book recommendation and it was fun finding about what you did last month.

Such a lovely post, Chelsea! I loved all of your looks, especially the first one; that burnt orange skirt is so beautiful! I know, it's crazy how fast November came, but it's my favorite month because, well I LOVE to eat and Thanksgiving its coming up, lol! Then again, I'm sad because this is the last month of fall and I hate saying farewell to the beautiful leaves and all things pumpkin! But I guess since it happens so quickly that when it does come, it makes it that much more special!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful day, beautiful!
