Can this item be worn 5+ ways? This is one of the questions I always ask myself before buying any new pieces of clothing! If it's not versatile enough, it's not going to make it into my closet. Living in the city, closet space is minimal, plus, I just find it easier to get dressed if I own fewer pieces that I truly love. I bought this velvet midi skirt (similar option here) in 2020 and it's something I find myself gravitating towards often in the fall and winter. It's so easy to dress up or down! While it could definitely be styled more casually or much more dressed up than the two ways I'm showing here, these are my two of my recent favorite outfits featuring this skirt.
Derek and I were headed out for a date to one of my favorite cafes so I wanted to wear something cute, cozy and casual. I love an oversized cardigan so I threw that on over a turtleneck and added a pair of off-white western boots and my off-white ergo Coach bag. This color palette is one of my favorites!
For an annual brunch date to the Terrain at Styers, I wanted to get a little more dressed up but still be cozy so I threw on a pair of sheer tights and my Intentionally Blank block heels (so comfy) along with my favorite Paloma Wool sweater. I bought this back in 2020 as well and it's still one of my most worn items every winter! I added a red bucket bag for a little pop of color.
