Merry Christmas Eve! I can't believe we're only one day away from Christmas and I still have so much wrapping to do! I finished my Christmas shopping over the weekend and although I feel relieved to be done with that it still feels like there's so much to do between today and tomorrow morning. Once everything is settled down this afternoon I'm looking forward to seeing the lights at Franklin Square, watching a Christmas movie with Derek (probably Elf), making peppermint hot chocolate and having breakfast for dinner, a Christmas Eve tradition over here. Do you do anything special on Christmas Eve?
A few weekends ago Derek and I made our way to the Terrain at Styers. We go every December and I always look forward to it! It's an adorable space out in the suburbs owned by Urban and it has the cutest shop filled with quirky gifts and beautiful home items, a greenhouse, a garden and a cafe! We always get brunch and then stop in the shop for a little Christmas shopping. I always want to wear something festive while we're at the Terrain so this year I went with my favorite sparkly sweater that I wore last year for Christmas. I tucked it into my new corduroy skirt and paired it with a pair of booties I picked up last year in Paris. Casual, comfy but still festive! The perfect combination for a holiday brunch.
Year 1 I also wore a festive sweater, year 2 I went with a bright pink sweater and paired it with a sparkly skirt and year 3 I wore a star printed sweater.
This is such a cosy look - and love the photography! Happy Holidays :)

I still haven't visited Terrain yet because it's so out of the way and I don't have a car, but I would really love to one day! For Christmas this year, I wore a sparkly sweater I bought from Madewell last year too! hahahh. The sleeves were elbow-length and it was a cinnamony colour :3 Merry Christmas & happy New Year! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
