Happy Monday! Did anybody else wake up to a little snow yesterday? I'm definitely not a fan of winter (I hate being cold!) but waking up to snow did feel a little magical. Living in Philadelphia, I really just need to accept and embrace cooler temps. I mean, I know it's going to be freezing every winter! It's not like I should be shocked year over year. Plus, I am starting to build a pretty impressive sweater and bootie collection. I love these metallic boots I got from Old Navy last year. They've held up pretty well despite the fact that I've walked miles all over the city in them multiple times. They are definitely my go-to both during the holiday season and throughout winter.
I bought this cropped sweater at Smak Parlour back in November and its been another go-to of mine. It's perfect for high-waisted pieces like these plaid pants (and this skirt as well)! This past holiday season I was trying not to buy anything to wear to holiday parties that was too holiday specific. Instead, I wanted to pick things that could be festive together but still be worn after the holiday season. These red plaid plants with the metallic booties ended up being a perfect combo that could work for Christmas festivities and beyond.
