HAPPY SATURDAY! It's finally the weekend. For me, the weekend doesn't necessarily equal relaxation. I'm always on the go - especially on Saturdays and Sundays which is why it's so important for me to put together outfits that are truly effortless. Weekends tend to include networking coffee dates, events and plenty of work work work for this whole side hustle thing. I always try to squeeze in a bit of time for myself, which usually includes some reading time and a mani but other than that, I have to be ready to go most of the time. I have a few go-to outfits but right now there's one go-to that I keep reaching for - the graphic tee and plaid blazer combo. Throw in a bit of distressed denim and a pair of pointed heels (chic sneakers would be fun too!) and you are good to go. I always like to add a swipe of red lipstick as well. I was headed to the & We Evolve Launch party when I wore this last weekend directly after a coffee date so it was easy to throw on and go.

Do you have any fun weekend plans? I'm squeezing in brunch with a few of my friends tomorrow and then Derek and I are looking at a few apartment options! Our lease is up in May but we're planning on staying in our apartment building so hopefully the moving process won't be too disruptive. We're also going to continue watching Season 2 of Series of Unfortunate Events. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
You have such amazing style. I always love the looks you put together! That plaid print is so classic and looks super chic...and I adore that t-shirt underneath. What a fabulous combination. Just wanted to say that I love what you do and always smile when you post. All the best!

I'd totally wear this with high-waisted jeans and boots! I've definitely noticed the plaid blazer and graphic tee trend. I snuck in brunch this morning, and the rest of the day was work work work (with some distractions). And tomorrow will be more work work work :P I definitely use my weekends to catch up and get ahead of work, and if I can find some time to relax, all the better! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with a t-shirt and blazer combo. I spent my weekend relaxing. Since I'm super busy during the week.
