Staying Cozy in a Cape

I think one of my favorite fall accessories has to be the cape. I picked this one up from Topshop this past winter and lived in it during the cooler months of spring. Now I have unpacked it and am ready to live in it once again! Adding a cape on top of everything else adds a sense of warmth and coziness. After all, you're practically walking around wearing a blanket! (But it's supposed to be a lot more chic, right?) Underneath this I was wearing a turtleneck and leather blazer but the cape added more fall vibes to it and softened the look up.

Derek and I travelled to West Chester last Friday to pick up a pumpkin to carve from a cute orchard and on the way home we passed what looks like a small state park! We parked the car and wandered down a trail, in awe by all of the shouting and merging colors of fall. Sometimes it's hard to see fall truly happen when you live downtown so it was refreshing to be around so much nature. We didn't really do much for Halloween this year other than watch an old scary movie but it was still a perfect weekend!
