Floral Statement Tops

You know when you find that perfect statement top that you could see yourself wearing all spring and summer long? Well, that's what happened to me. The only issue? It was a little on the pricey side. I'm all about buying more expensive pieces that will last longer (bye, fast fashion!) but at the same time this year I've been a little more mindful when it comes to spending with the shift in the economy that the pandemic has brought. When I saw this green floral top a few months ago I loved it so much I pinned it and made sure to keep an eye out for any promo emails from DÔEN. One finally arrived a few weeks later and I instantly added this piece to my cart. And, as they say, the rest was history. Okay, a little dramatic for a top but you get the point.

I love that this floral top is the perfect mix of classic and trendy. It has the trendy puffy sleeves that are all over Instagram but even after that trend passes it's still a piece that I can see myself wearing in the future. I styled it with my favorite wide leg jeans and strappy suede sandals for errands and a sangria date with a few close friends but it could easily be dressed up with a satin midi skirt and heels as well for night out. It's such a fun top for spring and summer but I think it could also be a fun pop of color during the cooler months as well.
