There are so many small businesses that I adore in Philadelphia. I try to shop small as much as possible, especially during this time. Most small businesses are currently closed due to COVID-19 but many of them are still accepting online orders including one of my favorite lifestyle boutiques, Moon + Arrow. This perfectly curated boutique is located in Queen Village which is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Philly. When I lived in Old City I would walk to Queen Village all the time to visit one of my favorite coffee shops, Bodhi Coffee, and then browse my favorite shops with Moon + Arrow always being one of my first stops.
Moon & Arrow is a socially responsible and environmentally conscious boutique which makes it even more special. I love shopping small and it feels even better when you know that you're purchasing from a place that is both mindful of the community and the environment. Plus, there's truly something for everybody here. There's a mix of vintage and handmade pieces from jewelry to clothing to home decor. The boutique also carries apothecary, air plants, paper products like cards and journals as well as so many other things that could fall into the lifestyle realm. They have a wonderful selection online that I'm planning on buying a few things from but I'm really looking forward to being able to shop in this lovely boutique again!
