Minimalism

Minimalism. It sounds so easy. The word is literally minimal. The least. Very little. Easy, right? Nope. Not for me. Statement necklaces, colors and prints are my safety blanket. It almost feels like it relates back to my personality and drive, I constantly have to be busy - always having more than one thing going on at once. This season is all about minimalism. Shades of grey, mock turtlenecks, simple booties - minimalism is, ironically, everywhere.

I bought this grey top at Loft a few weeks ago and it's such an easy go-to and seems to fit right in with the minimal chic trend going on. I think it will also be a good layering piece once the temps start to cool down a little more. Overall, this was perfect for a laid back city night to grab a drink or a cup of coffee. Maybe minimalism isn't for me all the time, but I think this will be an outfit I'll cycle through a few times this season.
