Best Week Ever.

Soooooooo, last week may have possibly been one of the greatest weeks of my entire life. And no, I'm not exaggerating. I went to Philadelphia with two of my best friends, Adrienne and Derek (friend Derek, not boyfriend Derek. I know. Confusing.) and we had such a fun time despite the heat and lack of internet and cable that mine and Adrienne's house had. I forgot how much I'm in love with that beautiful city and I'm excited to be moving back in a month with Adrienne. And.....WE FOUND AN APARTMENT! Yay! And the best part is that it isn't in North Philly again.
Here's a little glimpse of our few days together there. It included a beautiful view of the skyline and burgers from the Shake Shack (I went with the shroom burger!) upon our arrival. Later we headed to the Fairmount area to apartment hunt and we went to the OCF coffeehouse across the street from the Penitentiary for iced caramel lattes. That night we went to this bar called the Urban Saloon where they had so many yummy options, I was impressed by how good the crab cake sliders were. The next day we went to the Blue Cat for lunch and I loved the cat theme (duh). We ended our time in the city together by trying to catch a taxi by the art museum for about an hour back to the house Adrienne and I are moving out of. Crazy but so much fun.  The night that Adrienne and Derek left my mom got to the house and we waited in anticipation for the next day because we were FINALLY SEEING TAYLOR SWIFT. We celebrated that morning by getting sundaes at 11am at the Franklin Fountain. The concert was everything I could have imagined and so much more. I cried through the first four songs just because I couldn't believe I was there. Seeing Taylor Swift. In person. I saw her back in 2008 when she was still fairly new and was opening up for Rascal Flatts. She was incredible live, of course I knew she would be after seeing her all those years ago and she was great even then! Ed Sheeran was also insanely good, you can tell he also puts his heart and soul into his music.
I know not everybody is a fan of Taylor Swift, but you can't argue that she doesn't love her fans. She would just sit down and talk during different parts of the show, and she just made it feel so special for every single person there, and there were 50,000 of us. Each song had it's own stage set up and she just puts so much energy to make sure everything is perfect for the people who are there. You could just tell that she was genuinely nice and sincere and it's so refreshing to see an artist love their fans to the extent that she does.
