Last time, they had real bunnies in the photoshoot and now Mara from M Loves M has her adorable pup in the shoot. Ruche always has my favorite look books. They are always filled with beautiful pastels and patterns and they always want to make me purchase every single item. After looking at this Summer lookbook: Seashells, I'm already dreaming up my outfits for the beach trip I'm looking forward to in August.

I chose some of my favorite looks to share, but you can check out the whole thing here.

I don't know how many of you listen to country music, but, man oh man, is it my life. I try to listen to a little bit of everything but country music will always have such a strong place in my heart. One of the newer women of country, Kacey Musgraves is my new favorite. I bought her album at Target a few weeks ago and I've been playing it on repeat. One of the songs, "Follow Your Arrow" is one of my favorites, she points out that no matter what you do, someone's always going to judge you so you might as well be whatever you want and love who you love because we only live once. You can listen to the song HERE

After living in Philadelphia for the last 2 school years I'm realizing that I could never do this permanent small town living thing. I've been so bored and the days are much too slow. At first I thought it would be nice, having a slow and relaxing summer but I'm ready to go back to Philadelphia and I have, oh, just about a month and a half to go. Plus, having people stare at my feet (thanks to the heels) no matter where I go around here is starting to get old. And sure, my feelings were hurt when an older lady asked me if I felt silly where my "big shoes" just to grocery shop in, but at least I have enough confidence in myself to keep wearing my heels for no-good reason other than I feel like it.

Even though I have to wait a few weeks to go back to Philadelphia it feels good knowing I found a style of living that's right for me. I love using public transportation and being surrounded by tons of people. There is just too much space here in York, oh and I have to drive here, which I absolutely can't stand. Never really got into the whole driving thing. Just not for me I guess.

Which do you prefer, rural, suburbs or the city?

Two for Tuesday

Lately I've been messing around with the manual settings on my Nikon D3200, and I'm finally getting used to the simple settings like exposure. I thought I would go out this morning and practice a little with my two pups and of course, baby Lucy can't help but lunge at the camera every time I tried to snap a shot. Gunny looks more vicious in this picture than he really is, he's such a baby. He would be lost without his treats and a couch to lay on 99% of the time.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday. Even if it's slow or a little boring, try to pick out the little happy moments.

Sunshine in my Sky

Dress: LC by Lauren Conrad, Boots: Coconuts, Necklace: Vintage

Okay. So I've decided that this is my favorite dress that I've purchased in a while. I'm a sucker for a lace dress, and with the pretty coral peeking out underneath, I couldn't resist. I've been wanting to get into the shift dress trend but I just can't do it. I love my "fit and flare" and A-line dresses too much.

I started my tennis coaching job this morning. I have 18 kids under the age of 10 to coach on 1 tennis court and it's going to be crazy but super fun and rewarding, right? Plus, coaching tennis is a fun job compared to actual working. Do you guys have any fun side summer jobs?

Hope everyone's Monday wasn't too bad! Here's to a new week.

xoxo Chelsea

Summer Wishlist

It's finally here! Sweet summertime. Summer is easily my favorite season. Little dresses, light tops, sandals and slip on sneakers. I love it all. This year I'm all about the high-waisted shorts, retro bathing suits, peplum and polka dots. This summer the main things on my wishlist include color-blocked sandals, high-waisted shorts in both blue and white, floral peplum tops, and polka dotted bathing suits and sneakers.

What's on your summer wishlist?

American Girl

Top: Thrifted, Dress: Forever 21, Boots: Coconuts

I wore this outfit back on Memorial Day a few weeks ago. Something about blue plaid, a white dress and cowboy boots felt perfect for the holiday. I've been pairing tops over dresses like crazy lately. It's such an easy way to mix up a wardrobe when your limited on shopping. I've decided that blue and white is my favorite color combo, at least for now. I start my second job today, I'm going to be a server for this company that's about half an hour from my house and I'm excited to fill up my days a little more. This summer just seems to be dragging and there's a lot of days filled with nothing to do.

Two for Tuesday

This year is the year of graduations. My dad graduated from college, my sister had her 8th grade graduation and then the pictures featured here are Derek's graduation from college and my little brother's graduation from high school.

I'm so proud of Derek, I remember when we were 15 and not even really thinking about college and now he's a college graduate! He's so talented at graphic design and I know he's going to go so far with anything that he does.

I'm also so proud of my little brother. It doesn't seem like that long ago we were running around in West Virginia and North Carolina barefoot playing things like tag, hide and seek and baseball with our friends. He starts college in the Fall and I'm so excited for the opportunities he has ahead.

Summer Shift

Dress: Free People, Shoes: Target, Necklace: Calico-Spiked Necklace in Antique Gold {Similar}

Things just were not exactly working out when i was trying to take these. It was incredibly windy and bright outside but hey, it was the only time during the day I would get a chance to take these and you work with what you got. This is one of my favorite dresses ever and it's Free People so that makes sense. I actually found it at a consignment shop for only $30. The colors are so perfect for summer and I love how flowy it is, as you can tell from these windy pictures. Also, I recently got this necklace from Calico and I've been pairing it with almost everything.

I'm ready for the week ahead, I work everyday except for today and Thursday so I'm feeling good about working again. Tonight is Derek's graduation and I'm so incredibly proud of him. I'm so excited to see him in his cap and gown. I love that he found a career path that he really loves, plus I'm super jealous that he's so awesome at graphic design. That's something I hope I can eventually learn a little bit of.

Have a happy Monday!
