Sweetest Moments

It's funny how when I look back on my favorite moments, they tend to be the most simple, sweet moments. These simple, sweet moments are the ones I never want to take for granted. I see so many adults who are so worried about everything else take for granted small, happy moments in their lives and I don't want to become that kind of person, ever. I've been called naive so many times, but I truly people savoring these little moments are what keeps us happy, as well as sane when other things in our lives are spiraling out of control.

With all of this catching up in schoolwork I've been doing, I'm just letting my mind go back to one of the days I enjoyed the most over Christmas break. Derek had to go to work in the early afternoon on this particular January day, so he came over early in the morning and we spent our time making homemade crepes (filled with nutella, peanut butter and bananas) and playing with Pumpkin. It's crazy how little Pumpkin is here! He's getting so big now, he's going to be 6 months old next week as I announced on instagram (chelseaefinn) over the weekend.
