This past week has not been the best. Last weekend when I was home for Easter I ended up coming down with what I thought was the flu. I had to catch my train back to Philadelphia for classes so I didn't have time to make a doctor appointment so I went to the emergency flu center at the hospital where they gave me a pain reliever and I went on my way. After attempting to be at classes all week I got progressively worse and I woke up in the middle of the night Wednesday knowing I had to go home. So, turns out I have a major sinus infection and on top of that I've lost my voice. Fun. I'm finally feeling better today now that I've been on antibiotics for 24 hours.

Unfortunately, my voice has yet to come back. Despite all of these issues going on, I decided to still enjoy the day because it was absolutely beautiful out. My mom and I went to Rita's and then Target where I treated myself to a new skirt after this awful week. Luckily, I'm feeling much better! I don't think I will ever take my body for granted again. I was stressing out a little too much about having the perfect body for the beach this coming Summer but now I realize how important it is to keep your body healthy and how thankful I am that every part of me works and other than this last week, I truly am a healthy person and it can be easy to forgot about that in the midst of everyday life.
