Midi Dresses FTW

If you haven't been able to tell yet, I kind of LOVE midi dresses and skirts. I love how easy they are to style while remaining a chic closet staple. They pair well with heels, booties, mules, sneakers and flats which makes them incredibly versatile and they come in so many fun textures, styles, colors and patterns thanks to how popular they've become recently. I've been a major fan of the midi style before they became trendy again and I know once the trend wears off I'll still be wearing my favorites. Right now I just have the opportunity for so many options thanks to the fact that nearly every store is carrying them right now.

I've had this chambray midi dress in my closet for years. I used to work at LOFT and this was one of my (many) Lou & Gray purchases while I was there. I styled this look for late summer/early fall with a pair of worn in leather mules, a straw bag, an autumnal scrunchie and a pair of orange sunnies. I don't think I've ever worn this dress past September the past but now I'm thinking how cute it would be to layer it with a turtleneck tee and booties once the temps drop a little more.
