About a month ago, Derek and I headed out to Glen Mills for the day to visit one of my favorite spaces - Terrain at Styers. Owned by Anthropologie, the space is an inspiring and magical wonderland garden, restaurant and shop filled with beautiful things for your home. It's a holiday tradition for us to go around Christmastime when the Terrain is filled with twinkly lights and festive decorations. But if you can't make it around the holidays, it's worth a trip any time of the year. This year we decided to get brunch while we were there and I went with a Smore Latte (yum!) and the pork and potato hash which was probably the best savory brunch I've ever had. Derek got steak frites and he was not disappointed!
After brunch we wandered around the garden grounds where they were currently selling Christmas trees. It smelled like pine needles all throughout the garden and lights were strung across everything. There were a few small campfires on around the grounds with seats and blankets next to them - such an incredibly cozy atmosphere outside for a day that was under 40 degrees. After we got too cold we took a look in the shop were I attempted to resist buying too many things. There were so many cute gift ideas like coloring books and assorted treats and ornaments.
As much as I love wearing neutral shades all winter long that are easy to match, I miss throwing pops of color into my wardrobe. This sweater is easily one of my favorite recent purchases. It's such a fun color but such a cozy piece for the frigid temps that we get during the winter. Plus, somewhere as creative and colorful as the Terrain - it would seem like bummer to wear another black sweater while we were there. I'm already looking forward to our next trip but you can check out our last visit HERE.

Sounds like a great day trip. Have a great week.

Terrain looks like a beautiful space. I'd have a difficult time holding myself back from buying everything too! Love your outfit. The coat is a beautiful color and the sweater is a nice pop of color to the usual neutrals :) Hope you had a wonderful holiday!

For the past few years, I've been wanting to switch my wardrobe to an all black--or at least mostly black plus some neutral--wardrobe, so whenever I went shopping, I'd keep that in mind, and I'd also keep that in mind when doing wardrobe clean outs. But it turns out that I like colour too much to give it up! Anywho, the brunch looks so delicious!! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
