Collar Details

I'm dreaming about the day that I can go outside and not have to wear a coat while shooting outfit photos. According to the groundhog - Punxsutawney Phil, we're a short six weeks away from spring and I'm feeling impatient. As much as I love a good scarf or beanie, I'm ready to pack mine up until autumn. I've also decided that I'm sick of wearing the same jeans and cords on rotation, so I'm trying to get some use out of skirts and dresses again. I wore this  Sugarhill Boutique cat top (check out THIS adorable cat sweater!) last weekend. This blouse is one of my favorite tops in my closet but I don't get nearly enough use out of it as I would like to. I think next time I'm going to layer a sweater over it so that the cute cat collar can be a fun accessory.

 

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I managed to have Friday through Monday off, so it's been a long weekend for me but it still flew by! Derek turned 23 on Friday and we spent most of the weekend celebrating his birthday. I made him a homemade chocolate and peanut butter cake for dessert and that went much better than the dinner I tried to cook for him. I may have accidentally burnt the homemade fried chicken I attempted ...oops. It was a good weekend nonetheless!
