Weekends that Derek gets to stay with me in Philadelphia are my favorite weekends. Since the beginning of the semester he's been able to stay three different times and each time it's been wonderful. The Fairmount section of Philadelphia is one of my favorite areas. Although this area around the museum is usually filled with tourists, once you get between the blocks of 19th and 24th of Fairmount, it has the best atmosphere. Every time I move back into the city I can always find myself navigating towards darker shades or neutrals once again and whenever I'm in my hometown I tend to go more for colors that pop. I don't know what it is about the city that makes you feel like you should be dressed head to toe in neutrals. I tried to break it up with this pink top, of course, this shade ended up being more neutral as well.
Such a cute outfit :)

ReplyDeleteaw, haha, it's okay to be neutral! I feel like it's difficult for me to wear more than one bright color. Guess we should both challenge ourselves in what we wear! I hope your week was incredible. Have a great weekend!! <3
ReplyDeleteYour outfits are so adorable, that shirt is perfection as is your hat. I've been making an effort to wear more hats of late. Unrelated: I just bought some shoes similar to those.

This is one of my favorite Philly spots too! You look darling Chelsea. I love the neutral palette. I wish I could rock neutrals half as gorgeously as you do. :-)
