Dress+Shoes: Francesca's, Cardigan+Tights: Target, Necklace: Liz Claiborne, Purse+Sunnies: Steve Madden
So, this may have been a outfit post all the way back from April that I forgot to post, as you can probably tell from the dead plants in the background. This same spot is now covered in a lush green that is showing the promise of a hot summer. Spring is a funny time, sometimes the temps are all the way down in the 60's and 70's which calls for a pair of thin tights and a light cardigan. I actually rewore this outfit last week, so although it's an old set of photos, the outfit itself is still rewearable.
I love that a white dress can be accessorized so easily. I've worn this dress from Francesca's a few different ways this season. Dresses that are super versatile are my favorite. Lately before I make a purchase I try to picture at least 5 different ways it can be worn that way I get the most put of every purchase I make. I've found this to be important for those in college or on a tight budget like myself.
It's Monday again and I hope everyone has some fun plans for the week! I can't believe this is the first week of June.

I love this look! Surprisingly, even though it's spring, for some days here in ga this look can be perfect for the weather lol. And nice tip about the picturing an outfit 5 different ways before you purchase a piece. My bank account thanks you because that's a great idea :) Versatility for the win!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I definitely think about versatility in a piece before I buy it- I especially love to find dresses that I can wear in fall and spring, tights being the perfect add-on
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! That necklace is such a pretty pop of color against the white.

Ah, Chelsea! You're making me miss tights already. I recently purchased some navy ones just like this on sale and now I wanna wear 'em (sobs to self)
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is really, really pretty! It looks like a bunch of cherries on your neck. Stylin' cherries, aw yeah. ;D
Beautiful outfit. The tights are so pretty with the dress, but I'm glad that I haven't had to wear tights in a little while. I do have some plans for a similar outfit for September/October. Is it bad that I think that far ahead ?

The "5 outfit" rule is excellent---other bloggers only think of 3 outfits, but I'm glad that you are so rigorous. Too many times, I have spent money on a throwaway items on the spur of the moment without thinking of its future uses!
