One of my favorite memories of late summer was when I came home from Philadelphia for Memorial Day Weekend and Derek and I drove out to Carlisle, PA to their mini city. We parked right outside of the city and then walked around for a while before going to "Helena's Creperie". I've only had a crepe from the crepe truck on campus so this was a chance to try one from somewhere else. I've definitely come to the realization that I prefer sweet crepes over savory, but who could have guessed that? Ha. Here I tried a dulce de leche crepe and Derek got the nutella and banana crepe! Afterwards I got two macarons to go since I never had one before.
Yum. Summer in Philly looks splendid.

ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fun day!! :) LOVE your outfit, girl! Especially those shoes!
ReplyDeleteThe crêpe looks delicious! Love the color of shoes. You reminded me a lot of Taylor Swift with the bangs!
ReplyDeleteYou're always so darling! Those crepes look delicious--I've actually never had a crepe before! But it looks so very yum-tastic. I just love that red lipstick on you and you're always so cute in florals. <3 What a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try a macaron! Were they amazing?? And, oh my, those crepes look wonderful! We had a terrific crepe from a vendor outside the London Aquarium- such a fun and tasty memory :)
ReplyDeleteMacarons are my favorite-- especially from Laduree (if you get a bad macaron, they can be REALLY bad). Also, crepes. If you get the chance, try an apple and cheddar crepe with whipped cream. They are my absolutely favorite. Definitely more sweet than savory, but still something you can get and say it's lunch, rather than dessert ;).
