I think I'm in denial about the fact that I'll be home in York a week from today. As in...not in Philadelphia. I can not describe to you all how much I'm going to miss the city after coming here. So many times on this blog, before I moved here, did I complain about wanting to move to the city. And I finally did it. And now I have to go home. Although, I can't lie and say I haven't missed wide open spaces, Derek, my family, farmers markets and just a slow paced atmosphere in general. Maybe this break is just what I need, and over my Easter weekend 3 weeks ago I got a taste of what my summer is going to be like. And I guess I will appreciate this break and spend as much time as possible with the people I don't see nearly enough.
Hope everyone's having a good week and good luck to those who are also experiencing "finals week"! Let's just say I am not excited for my macroeconomics test on Thursday, which I should probably be studying for now instead of getting all nostalgic...
I love love the burst of colors in these photos, they really speak of summer! Glad to know you're having steaming fun over there! Have a great great summer! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to visit my blog soon. :-)
Much love from Mystic Nymph.
Would you believe I've never visited a farmers market?! I MUST. Also, I just planted some basil and Jen planted sage, plus we both planted SO much more for Spring/Summer!
ReplyDeleteP.S. That blue cheetah print scarf is AMAZING.
I love the scarf and the photo of you in front of the farm! College is hard because it's sad to leave it at the end of the year, but it's also sad to leave home to go back to school. It's so much moving around and you're never in one spot long enough to get truly settled. It's so much fun, though - enjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm exploding from an overload on cuteness. Seriously. You are precious.
