Flashback: January 2011

-Derek and I celebrated New Years Eve for the first time together. 

-I spent the first few days of 2011 with friends and then it hit us we were actually going to graduate this year. 

-I got accepted into Duquesne, Queens University of Charlotte, York College, West Chester and Temple University and started realizing I was going to be without my best friends after the summer.

-We got a kitten and named him Sharkey. 

-I started embracing the sweater and sweatshirt look.

-Sharkey and our german shepherd, Scout, became best friends.

-We had our fair share of beautiful snow days.

-Derek and I continued to be ourselves.

-I went bowling with my family and had a great time.

-I bought Derek and I matching plaid shirts.

-I had my first "green monster" and loved it. 

-I got bangs and wore purple tights to school. 

-Scout and Sharkey continued to be best friends. 

-We had a snow day, so my sister and I built a snowman and played with Scout in the snow for the entire day. Probably one of the best days I ever had. 

-I embraced the Gossip Girl look as well as the Rachel Berry look. 

Since I never did a "year in review: post for 2011, like I did for 2010 (here and here), at the end of each month I'm going to post about what happened a year ago. It's crazy how much has changed in only a short year. It's hard to believe a year ago I was only half way through my senior year!
