If you're walking to Rittenhouse Square from City Hall on chestnut street I doubt you will miss "Scoop DeVille". It's hard to miss with the giant pink logo, the large picture of ice cream and quirky sayings printed on the window like, "life is short, eat desserts first!" Ever since Derek visited me the first time here in Philadelphia, we have made it a tradition to go back there before he takes the train back to York on Sundays. I love how decorated (and how pink) the interior is, I also love the candy necklace chandelier. I've gotten "buttered pecan" and "maple walnut" ice cream from there and both are delicious!
