Today I got the opportunity to teach two classes of 2nd graders about train safety with some of my friends and Derek because of SADD club. I've always liked kids, but I've never really been a "kid" person (Does that even make sense?) It ended up being tons of fun. I loved being able to help them out and answer their questions. They were all so adorable! It ended up being a beautiful, sunny day. I wish I had known how warm it was going to be, I might have ditched the tights and boots for a pair of flats or sandals.
awwwwww second graders are my favorite to teach! I was a counselor to the 2nd grade group at camp when I was younger. Then I counseled toddlers.... they were chaotic =) and drooley! haha!

So cute! *Love* the skirts, Chelsea!!!
ReplyDeleteI love kids - thats one of the reasons I became a teacher! I find the 2nd graders a bit too wingy for my liking though lol. Im happy with my grade 3 and 4 class. Glad to hear you had fun :) Your skirt is very pretty! xx

I used to want to be a teacher so bad growing up. I like kids... The quiet, sweet, open-minded fun ones though. Not the loud, sticky, bratty ones. :P
ReplyDeleteAnd again, I am so coming to raid your closet. You have like my exact (dream) style!
This is one of my favorite outfits yet, I LOVE that skirt...you are too cute.
ReplyDeleteI like kids but I am not really a kid person either...so I totally get what you're saying. I always enjoy it when I get to spend time with them though :-)
how sweet! I used to want to teach kids. I still do, it's just I keep on realizing that they're a lot of work... and I'm just too lazy. hahaha. I love that skirt! The patterns are just adorable!

That sounds like such a neat experience! I can only handle little kids for a short time before I start to become afraid for their safety under my watch, haha... ;) And I love your outfit! When it's warm enough to go barelegged that's always a good sign!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is perfect for being a "teacher for a day!" Haha, but it is: it's fun but not like, revealing or something:p
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous! The teaching sounds fun too, I love little kids:)
