1 Year Enagaged! A Look at Our Engagement Photos

This past Tuesday officially marked a year of being engaged! Last October, Derek surprised me with the most romantic proposal while we were in Paris. I honestly couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect proposal, that day still feels like a dream in the best way. After Derek proposed, he surprised me with an engagement shoot that we would be doing later that day by the Tuileries and Louvre. We went back to the airbnb to change and headed over. I remember feeling so happy that it was finally a cloudy and misty day after days of non-stop sunshine in London and Paris, and while sunny days can be nice sometimes, there's something about the gloom that makes Paris feel a little extra romantic. 

To be honest, I was in such a daze all day from the excitement, I barely remember taking these! But I'm so happy with how they turned out. We're currently in the process of picking which pictures to use for the wedding website and save the dates. Derek and I are getting married next September! We have a little under a year to go and lots of planning ahead of us. We have our venue and date booked, which is probably the most important thing! This month we're going to start researching photographers, DJs, florists - all that fun stuff! If you have any wedding planning tips, feel free to leave them in the comments below!
