Taylor Swift's Top 13 Live Performances

Taylor Swift's Top 13 Live Performances | Organized Mess

If you've been following this blog for almost any amount of time you probably know I'm a major Swiftie. I've covered her Wonderstruck (a perfume she released during the Speak Now era) Promo Events, my excitement to see her live for the Red Tour, her iconic street style around the time that 1989 was released, my favorites on Reputation and more. This past July Taylor Swift released her 8th studio album, Folklore, less than a year after releasing Lover. I loved Lover but I absolutely adore Folklore. It may be one of my favorite albums she's ever released, my other favorites being Red and Speak Now. Tonight she's returning the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM's) for the first time in seven years to perform Betty from her new album. I'm so excited for the performance so I thought I would share 13 of my favorite T Swift live performances.

13. Call It What You Want - SNL - 2017

Call It What You Want is one of my favorite songs on Reputation and I absolutely love this acoustic version! She may have claimed that the old Taylor was dead during this era but you can't help but see her here.

 12. Should've Said No - ACM Awards - 2008

ICONIC - From the surprise outfit change to the "rain". This was all before Taylor Swift was a well known artist and you can just see a superstar in the making here.

 11. I Knew You Were Trouble - Live on the Seine - 2013

There are so many incredible live performances of I Knew You Were Trouble including the 2013 Brit Awards and the 1989 tour version but this version shows off her talent as a singer and songwriter.

 10. Eyes Open - VH1 Storytellers - 2012

This entire VH1 special was so good but Eyes Open really stood out.

 9. Love Story - iHeartRadio Music Festival - 2014

Swift changed up Love Story during the 1989 era, adding synths and a different beat and it works perfectly.

 8. Cornelia Street - City of Lover Concert - 2019

One of my favorite songs on Lover! I love hearing it stripped down with just the guitar. I was also tempted to add another City of Lover performance to this list, Death By a Thousand Cuts - another song that's incredible to hear stripped down.

7. Wildest Dreams - Grammy Museum - 2015

An unexpected twist for Wildest Dreams was this song only on electric guitar but it sounds SO good.

6. Mine - Ellen Degeneres Show - 2010

SO SOFT. This quiet, acoustic version of Mine is so sweet! I love it even more than the original.

5. Run (Cover) - George Strait Tribute Concert - 2009

This was a cover of George Strait's run but it sounds like it could easily be a Taylor Swift song. Love this rendition!

4. I Did Something Bad - AMA's - 2018

SLAY TAY. But seriously, she kills this performance! IDSB was performed similarly on the Reputation tour except with fireworks and it was one of my favorite parts of the concert!

3. All Too Well - Grammy Awards - 2014

My favorite T Swift song and what's been repeatedly called the best song of her career (so far), this Grammy performance was incredible and unexpected considering that All Too Well was never a single.

2. Out of the Woods - Grammy Museum - 2015

Sometimes it's hard to feel the emotions a sad song is conveying when it's a fast pop song but, wow, can you feel the heaviness of this song when it's sang on the piano.

1. Holy Ground - BBC Radio One's Live Lounge - 2019

SO MANY EMOTIONS. This was such a surprise, I never would have thought that Taylor Swift would've performed a song from Red that wasn't a single in a short set list (in 2019 nonetheless) but that's exactly what she did here. Hearing Holy Ground slowed down version on the piano gave me chills.
