Polka Dots and a Pop of Red

Alright, so it might be spring but it's still March in Pennsylvania, which means it's still chilly. And by chilly I mean under 50 degrees, aka it's freaking cold. Unfortunately, layers or warmer pieces are still a must for most days but I've picked up a few additions for my wardrobe to take me from winter to spring. I recently bought these polka dot pants and I can't get enough!  Wide leg styles have been on a trend for the last year or two but I've always loved this style. It's so comfortable plus, they look great with almost any pair of shoes whether it's a pair of booties, mules or sneakers.

Derek and I went to my favorite French restaurant in the city and I, naturally, wanted to wear something I could see myself wearing in Paris. (God, I miss that city!) I wanted to be simultaneously dressed up and dressed down which is exactly how I would describe street style in Paris. I styled these wide leg polka dot pants with a red turtleneck and my favorite off-white booties that I've been living in the past few months (and unfortunately you can probably tell!!) and a structured bag. It was the perfect outfit to sit underneath the heat lamps at Parc, eating creme brûlée and sipping on hot chocolate while we people watched.
