Happy Tuesday! We've been blessed with a few days here and there that are warm enough to go without a heavy coat and I am living for it! Unfortunately, it looks like the chill is going to be back this week though. I've been trying to embrace the fact that winter is approaching (ugh) and I've picked up a few new sweaters, a new winter hat, a leopard print coat (can't wait to share which one I got soon!) and these velvet pants. I bought these on black friday but they had been sitting in my Pinterest Fall/Winter board for a few weeks beforehand. I swooped into our local Madewell and was able to grab the last pair in my size. I'm so excited about these because I feel like they are going to go with almost anything. This oxblood color is my favorite "neutral" for fall/winter. Tip if you're interested in buying your own pair: go down a size. Trust me! The style is supposed to be wide but I felt like my actual size was just too big everywhere else.
I hope you had a great weekend! We hosted a Friendsgiving and it was so much fun. We were able to successfully fit 14 people into our 500 sq. ft apartment which felt like a major win! Haha. Everyone brought so many delicious things from homemade garlic mashed potatoes to a green bean casserole. We also made mulled wine and I picked up a pumpkin and pecan pie, of course! I love getting to spend extra time with friends during this time of year. We just started creating holiday traditions with friends a few years ago and it's the absolute best. It makes Philadelphia feel even more like home than it already did. Do you have holiday traditions with your friends? If so, which ones do you look forward to the most?
Those pants look so good on you!! I don't think I could pull them off myself.
