It's unfortunate that I've fallen in love with with crop tops since the cold weather has set in. Good thing they make crop tops with a high neckline and long sleeves. I consider myself to have a fairly conservative and girly style but it's fun to experiment with new looks sometimes. I'll never go so far outside of my comfort zone where my look is too revealing. I try to mix classic and modern looks.
Do you every try to go out of your comfort zone? How have you experimented with style lately?

I loved crop tops in the summer but now that the cold's set in the only way I'm wearing one is with a high waist that tucks my midriff in! They're very useful for high-waisted styles though, none of that ugly bunching when something's really long underneath. Cute skirt, by the way - I am loving plaid at the moment! CC x
ReplyDeleteYES! I love the avoidance of all of that bunching. And plaid is my current obsession right now! xo
Deletechelsea, i know you're a big taylor swift fan and i just have to say: you remind me of her SO MUCH. your hair, makeup, and outfits are always so fun, yet classy just like tay's. i love it!
ReplyDeleteand i'm really loving your crop top. it's so perfect for fall! happy halloween :)
OH MY GOSH. Julia, your comment made my day when I read it. That is so incredibly sweet. Thank you. :) I hope you had a fun Halloween! xo
DeleteCute look. I go outside of my comfort zone here and there.
ReplyDeleteI tried crop tops over the summer; it was fun, but I always felt a bit exposed. I like the idea of cropped sweaters to layer over dresses this winter.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! I was a bit unsure of it the first few times I tried them out. I lvoe the idea of cropped sweaters over dresses for the winter!
DeleteHey Marlen! I've been trying the same thing! I used to add (and still do quite frequently) so much "fluff" to my outfits but it's been fun to go with sharper pieces lately. xo Chelsea
ReplyDeleteThis is so Taylor Swift! And I adore it.
ReplyDeleteMuch Love, Karen
