There aren't many things I love more than getting to spend my weekends with Derek in Philly. I decided to stay in Philadelphia for the summer this year instead of going back home to York. I'm looking forward to the independence of living alone during a time that isn't the school year, but of course, not looking forward to the things I didn't have to do over the summer like buy my own groceries, pay utilities, make myself dinner, etc. It's only been a few weeks but it's been great and a relaxing summer so far. I start a new job today that I'm really looking forward to and living with my best friend is kind of one of the best things that can be happening when you're 21. At the same time, I miss spending all of my summer days with Derek but it makes me appreciate our time together when he's able to come visit me for a weekend or when I make it home to see him and my family.

Now that I have to worry about things such as buying groceries and paying utilities, buying new clothes is pretty much on the back burner right now, so instead I will be trying to remix my wardrobe more to make old pieces look new. With so many fashion bloggers it can be easy to feel lost in the sea when you can't constantly buy new clothes and have a new outfit three times a week to show on here, but instead of feeling down about it I'm going to use it as a challenge to get more creative with my personal style. How do you go about remixing your wardrobe?

PS: Managed to find 4 Beatles Albums at the Phila Flea Market for only $30. Getting a record player was both the best and worst thing to happen to me. Always on the hunt for my favorite albums.
