Christmas Day

Dress: Myrtlewood via Modcloth (Under $100!), Heels: Modcloth, Necklace: Vintage, Belt: Target

Christmas came and went so quickly, as it always does. My mom is in the midst of taking down the rest of the decorations after taking down the tree a few days ago. I feel like I have so many Christmas posts to catch up on! Oh well, I can just spread the Christmas cheer into January, right?

These were taken on Christmas day. As soon as I had seen this dress on Modcloth's site, I knew it would be perfect for Christmas, in fact, I bought it almost two months ahead of time. I decided to dress it up with gold accessories such as a necklace, a sparkly belt and heels. I also added some pearl earrings as well. I actually didn't even realize I could wear earrings, I had gotten them pierced in high school and the last time I wore earrings was to prom three years ago. When I saw my pearl earrings sitting in my jewelry box I was pleasantly surprised when they slid right in.

On Christmas day we spent the first half of the day at Derek's house with his family and then we went to my Uncle's and followed my parents from there to my grandmother's in Maryland. So, must of our time was spent with my parents, siblings, grandparents and great grandma. My favorite thing about the holidays is getting to spend so much time with my family and Derek. I'm sad to see it starting to dwindle down after the New Years.
