There are certain movies that I buy right when they come out on DVD and watch them over and over again. After seeing this movie with some of my friends the day after it hit theaters, I can tell you this is one of them. We laughed, we cried, we all felt so many emotions and fell in love with the characters and the family. To me, that's what makes a film great. After hearing about it being made from the people who created Love Actually, I was already sold and the film exceeded my expectations by far (and trust me, they were already high). I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a movie I loved this much. Plus, on top of loving the movie I absolutely loved Rachel McAdam's character's closet, 'Mary: lived above a vintage shop, so of course most of the costumes had a vintage or quirky twist to them. The main idea is that the main character, Tim (played by Dublin-based actor Domhnall Gleeson) finds out from his father that he can travel through time on his 21st birthday. I thought the movie was going to focus a lot on this, but I felt that the focus was more about appreciating the time that we do have, and that we don't have to relive every day in order to find something good out of it. I don't want to say anymore, because I don't want to ruin it, but trust me when I say GO SEE IT!
