For those that have been following my blog for a while, every Fall I post about the Fall Fest, one of the events I look forward to the most every year. It's just a big country music festival that has "secret" tickets. Except the tickets aren't so secret anymore, you just pick up however many you want at the gas station, Turkey Hill.
This year Lonestar (I'm Already There, Walking in Memphis, Amazed, You're Like Coming Home) was the opening act and it was so much fun seeing them since their music was basically part of my childhood soundtrack. I remember my parents and all of the families living on military bases listening to them all the time, so the concert in general had a nostalgic feel.
I really liked the two openers, Frankie Ballad (sings Helluva Life) and Joe Nichols (Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall, Gimmie That Girl, Sunny and 75). It was great just to be by the country side for the weekend, especially now that Fall is finally here. There's nothing like Fall in a rural area.
