Maybe I should start calling this a monthly recipe feature instead of weekly, ha. I've done a fairly poor job at keeping up with this but now that I have my own apartment I'm hoping to do better at this feature! This is a recipe I made about a week or two before I left for school, and that is peaches n cream bars! This is such a perfect treat for mid-end of summer since peaches are in season and tend to have the best flavor then. These were also super easy to make, which is always a plus.
To make, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and have an 8 x 8 pan ready. I lined mine with aluminum foil for an easy clean up. First, you have to prepare the crust and bake that for 15 minutes and then move on to the filling. The glaze will be added after the bars are done cooling. You can check out the full recipe at Sally's Baking Addiction, here!
Oh my gosh, Chelsea, these look delicious! At first I read these as pecan n' cream bars which still sounded delicous... maybe there's a variation for the winter holidays in here somewhere? ;)
