My second high-low look in a row! Like I said, I just can't get enough of this trend. Another trend I'm loving is the shift dress trend. I've always shied away from this style when it comes to dresses but decided to give it a try this summer with so many cute options. I never thought I could pull it off, I had this strange idea in my head that shift dresses were only for those who are stick-thin but now I see they are for every body shape! Besides, why should our body shapes prevent us from wearing whatever we please? Embrace your body! I seriously can't get over the incredible selection that Ruche has!

I'm so thankful it's Friday. A few simple things went wrong this week, and I'm just ready for the weekend and the beginning of a new week. Sometimes when things are going wrong the best solution is just to get dressed up in a pretty dress and go on a date with your boyfriend, which is exactly what I did. Derek has a funny way of making the moments that I spend with him seem like the only moment that exists, therefore making all of my problems go away during that time. That's love, am I right?

So, if you're having a rough week, a rough day or even a rough hour. Chin up and smile, and know it will pass soon enough. Go spend some time with a loved one, whether it's a boyfriend, friend, sister or anybody else and remember what's really important.
