Dress: Target, Heels: Charlotte Russe, Purse: Steve Madden
I snagged this dress on sale at Target for less than $15 and have already worn it multiple times. I love the color scheme on it and the vast amount of colors makes accessorizing this dress different ways extremely easy. Although my favorite way to style it so far is this way, this necklace blends almost perfectly with this dress. I actually found this necklace at the department store Boscovs on my way into the mall, I usually don't shop there but seeing the necklace I knew it would be a perfect addition to my summer wardrobe.
Today is an exciting day for my family, my little brother is graduation from high school! The other day he drove me to work and I'm just amazed by how quickly he has grown up. I'm so incredibly proud of him. After the summer is over he will be starting college at the local community college and then he is thinking about going to Millersville or Pennstate. College is such an exciting time, and I'm so happy he's going to get the experience.
With his graduation being tonight, it's so hard to believe that I graduated 2 years ago and I'll be graduating from college in 2 years. This whole "becoming a grown up thing" is happening all so quickly. Everyone always says how the transition from being a teenager to an adult just creeps up, I just thought it would be more noticeable.
You look so pretty! Great outfit!

What a gorgeous dress! I can't believe the deal you got. The matching necklace and bag works so well. And congrats to your brother :) As someone who graduated college almost 4 years ago (yikes!), I don't think you ever quite get used to growing up ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! What a perfect color for you! :)
ReplyDeleteI just wore a similar dress from Target today, and I love it.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is stunning too. The store is still new to my area, so I'm getting used to how awesome their dresses are.
It's crazy to think back to graduations after they've come and gone. Time goes too quickly sometimes!
