The Ring

It's almost midnight now and it's now Christmas Eve, which means in just a few minutes it will be Christmas morning. Christmas has come so fast this year. I can't believe it! Last Christmas seems like just yesterday, I'm afraid of feeling like the same way a year from now. In a year I will be finished with my first semester of college. I wish time could just slow down....just for a minute......On a good note, Derek completly, 100% shocked me with what he got me for Christmas.......

Derek loved the collage! He loves gifts with meaning like this.

Derek also made me a sentimental gift. It's a calender filled with pictures of us from this past year!

Derek got me this ring! I love it so so much, and I was shocked. It's sterling silver with white sapphires.

Then we baked peanut butter cookies, just like last year.

And they turned out great!

We then watched Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and The Year Without a Santa Claus.

And parents got me a zebra printed snuggie as my early Christmas present! (every year we open 1 present on Christmas Eve). I know. Be jealous. haha. :)

What was your Christmas Eve like?
And I hope everyone has a great Christmas day, no matter what holiday you are celebrating!

Forever 21-Holiday Collection

Sorry if I havn't been keeping up with commenting you back. Things have been hectic the last few days and I've been really busy with school, college applications and senior project (Yikes!). But I promise I will get back to each and every one of you tomorrow or Friday. Your comments mean a lot to me, so I always try and get back to each of you. Tomorrow I have a meeting to go to for Interact club so I have to dress up nice, which means an outfit post for tomorrow!

But for today, I saw on facebook Forever 21 showed their holiday collection! I love all of the pieces so much. I love the fun colors, the sparkles, the fur and everything else about it! What do you think?

I love wearing blue, so I am so thrilled about the new blue dresses! I'm thinking about getting one to wear on Christmas day!
Which are your favorites?

Senior Picture Previews!

Senior pictures seem to be a huge deal these days. A lot of people go and ge tthe same poses down at the same place here, but I decided to have my aunt do mine! My aunt lives in Virginia so she did them at a Japanese Garden near her house and at the beach! I'm having trouble picking out a few but here's a couple of the previews for now.....

Black and White

Last night we had our school's sports banquet. I have played tennis the last four years and I have to say that I am going to miss that more than anything. Tennis is probably one of my best memories about high school. It was hard to hold back tears the whole way there and the whole way back.

H&M top, $4.00 on sale; H&M skirt, $5.50; Target Heels, Forever 21 Necklace

I wore black and white to the banquet. A usual mix of colors for me during the winter.

What I Love About Winter

I am so excited that winter is finally coming! There's nothing that I would rather wear than tights, scarves, gloves, oversized sweaters and boots. Here are my favorite things about this time of year....

1. Boots!

2. Bread bowls at Panera Bread. Yum.

3. Oversized Sweaters!

4. Lighting candles.
(preferably bath & body works candles, the "caramel vanilla" scent smells so good!)

5. Scarves!

6. ANYTHING Christmas related.
Christmas music, christmas sweaters, christmas decorations, christmas cards, christmas candy, christmas trees, christmas, christmas, christmas!

7. SNOW!

8. Hot drinks from starbucks
(especially gingerbread lattes and peppermint hot chocolate. Mmmm.)

9. Cookies!
And basically every other kind of dessert. My favorite dessert during this season? Egg custard pie!

10. My heater

CMA's 2010

Wednesday night, the CMA's (country music awards) were on. They didn't disappoint, especially since Taylor Swift sang her new single "Back To December"! She was amazing. As always.

Here were some of my favorite outfits of the night!
I think red is one of the best colors for Taylor Swift, and I always love it when she wears it to events like this. It always makes her really stand out.
I always love long dresses that sparkle and shine or look like they are extremely heavy. Laura Bell Bundy and Kellie Pickler pull off their dresses perfectly in my opinion. I believe that both of them have a sort of "classic-old hollywood" look.

I am so obsessed with Gossip Girl, it's not even funny. I was so happy to see Leighton Meester at the CMA's! I thought her dress looked great on her and I thought it was extrememly appropriate for a guest at the awards.

Jennifer Nettles from duo, Sugarland, looked stunning in blue. I think blue is a color that really looks great on her. I love how tiny and tight the top is and how it just flows out underneath. It's also an interesting pattern choice. I also love when people wear blue with blue eye makeup.
What are your opinions on the different looks of the night?
