Oh, hi! Happy New Year! It's so hard to believe we're already in 2024. Where has the time gone!? The end of the year is always such a blur so I'm excited to ease back into blogging, and other hobbies - including my new Substack! You can give me a follow here if you're interested in joining along on that adventure! The next few months are going to be a bit of trial and error but I'm excited to try it out. I'm still not exactly sure how I'm going to go about differentiating blog posts vs Substack posts but I'm hoping to get a better idea once I get started. So far, I'm thinking about leaving the outfit posts, style edits, and travel guides over here and posting more pop culture, lifestyle, and Philly-focused content on Substack but it's all TBD for now, to be honest.
I've had this button-up from Banana Republic for years and it's still one of my go-to pieces! I bought it back in 2018-ish when I was working my 9 to 5 in an actual office instead of remotely like I do now 99% of the time. While I don't wear it work anymore, I do wear it to wine bars (like I did when we took these pictures) and casually with light wash denim and as a layer on chilly summer evenings at the beach. Button-ups are so versatile! I wanted to keep this outfit chic but playful, so while I included more structured pieces, like my ergo bag and heeled loafers, I also added a bow which has my one of my favorite accessories lately. This will definitely be an outfit I keep in regular rotation!
