A few months ago I asked you what you thought about coveralls. I was undecided about this trend for the better half of the year. I'm typically hesitant towards trends in general because last year I decided that I would start to invest in fewer but higher quality pieces and I've been fairly good about keeping up with that practice. When you think of the word trend, it's usually associated with something you're going to wear for a season or two and then sell to your local consignment store and that's personally not how I would like to curate my wardrobe due to, one: money, I would like to purchase items I know I'm going to get wear out of for years (aka, I have limited funds) and, two: space! My home is less than 1,000 square ft and we have very limited closet storage. So, would coveralls make the edit for me? I wasn't too sure. While browsing Urban one day after work I spotted this lavender pair and decided to try them on, you know, just for fun but you know how that usually works out.
I decided to pair my coveralls with fun accessories like a pearl barrette, a few rings and a lavender purse. I also elevated my look with a pair of heeled booties. I styled this in late spring but if I was styling this look today I would swap the booties with a pair of heeled sandals. I love a monochromatic look so I tried to go slightly monochromatic by adding this lavender bag but I would love to see what this would look like with a lavender shoe as well. How would you style a pair of coveralls?

Ok I never realized I absolutely needed a lavender jumpsuit until I saw this! It's so perfectly utilitarian, but still flattering and feminine - LOVE!

I love the play between the cuteness of the pastel color and the utilitarian nature of the cut of the jumpsuit! So fun!
