Holiday Party Look: Velvet and Plaid

Attending a holiday event and don't want to go with the usual party dress? One of my favorite combos right now is velvet and plaid! Velvet is so festive (and comfy!) and paired with a plaid skirt makes for a party-ready holiday look. I found this vintage 1990's velvet tee from Lost & Found last spring and I love mixing it with current pieces. When it comes to accessorizing I decided to keep it on the minimalistic side since the outfit itself already has so much going on with the velvet and pattern. One of my new favorite accessories? Wrap rings!

Stacked rings have been everywhere the last few years and I love this fun twist on that trend. Instead of using individual rings you have one single ring that wraps around your finger to give the illusion of there being more than one. It's both unique and practical. I love the idea of only having to keep track of the one ring itself rather than searching for all of the individual pieces in my jewelry drawer. It's going to be the perfect accessory for all of my holiday looks this season. (Plus, Wrap Ring is based right here in Philly!) One of the best parts? They come in so many different colors and gem shapes so you can find one that's perfect for your personal style. I went with the "Anne" ring in black and white because I'm always on the go and felt I like could work a neutral piece into most of my wardrobe.
