I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I actually ended up having the entire weekend off so I hosted a gin night at my place with a few close friends (It's like wine night, but with gin! Have you tried sage liquor before? So delicious.) I tried a new place for brunch in East Passyunk - Bing Bing Dim Sum (the potatoes are the best thing ever), went to tea at The Dandelion, went to my favorite brunch spot in NoLibs with Derek - N. 3rd, had a little photoshoot with fellow Philly style bloggers and did a little shopping. It was the perfect weekend full of food, friends and laughter and it felt like a sneak peek at what summertime has to offer!

I swear I nearly got frost-bite on my hands walking to work (of course I was holding a cup of coffee and I forgot my gloves) on Thursday and then Saturday I was sweating to death in this outfit. This weather seems like it's been more off than in recent years but I'm hoping we have a little bit of warm (and stable) temperatures coming soon. This Lou & Grey dress is a perfect transitional piece because it's actually made of a sweater-like material. It works with or without tights and with any type of shoe from booties, to sandals or sneakers. I have another outfit post lined up next week to show another way to wear this piece and it may involve a pair of metallic sneakers...
