Pastel Sweaters for Spring

Pastel Sweaters for Spring | Organized Mess

I don't know about you but we're still stuck in that in-between seasons weather here in Philly. Some days it's so warm it almost feels like summer (yesterday was 80 degrees!) and other days you would still think it's January. I'm loving the days that feel perfectly like spring, you know the ones, where the sun is just warm enough to wear your favorite sweater without any layers and the sky is blue and your favorite coffee shops and bars are packed with people. Okay, maybe I'm doing a little bit of daydreaming about the days before COVID-19 but you probably get the picture. Even if our favorite coffee shops are temporarily closed (hello, social distancing), we can still embrace the spring weather at home in our favorite pastel sweaters and maybe a glass of white wine on the terrace or by your favorite window.

I love how soft this lavender sweater is. It's been on heavy rotation in my closet for the last month or so as I've been thinking about the arrival of spring. I also wore it on a six hour flight to California recently because it's just that cozy. I styled it (pre-self quarantine) with a pair of wide-leg jeans, off-white booties and a pair of my favorite earrings from a local Philly favorite, Xenia Studio. I've seriously been so obsessed with wide leg styles lately! They are so much comfier than skinny jeans and it's just fun to mix it up sometimes. I've been into this trend since 2018 when I bought a pair of wide leg velvet pants. Are you embracing the wide-leg pant style? And what pastel sweaters will you be wearing this spring?
