November Wishlist

As I get older I'm starting to appreciate pieces that aren't necessarily as trendy, but more classic so that they will last longer in my wardrobe. Also, I'm starting to learn the fact of quality over quantity. As a fashion blogger, you see a lot of clothes, constantly. I'm always checking for new arrivals, I check fashion blogs daily and I find myself constantly paying attention to what everyone around me is wearing. It's easy to get caught up in wanting so much when you see so much, but I'm trying to buy better pieces that will last a long time instead and I feel as though my November wishlist shows that more-so than previous wishlists. For the winter months, do you go for more classic or trendy pieces?

November Wishlist
1. Modcloth, Luck Be a Lady Dress. I love dresses with a timeless look to them, this could be dressed up or down for the Holiday season.
2. Modcloth, Paris Sunrise Sweater. This would be so comfy and girly for the upcoming cold weather. Sure, the Paris theme seems to be a trend, but this could still work once that trend is over.
3. Modcloth, Statement of the Art Necklace. A statement necklace can dress up a tee or a dress at any time.
4. Topshop, Bound Seam Double Coat. This is such a beautiful coat, I'm obsessed with it actually. A style like this is very classic and timeless.
5. Topshop, Suede Paneled Leather Biker Jacket . I love the mix of texture in this leather jacket. The suede is a nice break from the edginess of the leather.
6. Madewell Distressed Leather Barnwood Boot. Everyone needs a leather bootie, this color is great.
7. Madewell Teddy Loafer. Although loafers and animal print are super trendy this year, they seem to be timeless trends that will go well past the season.
8. Modcloth, Streak of Success Skirt. This would be a great skirt for regular everyday wear or for future work days. I love the A-line cut too, I'm not one for pencil skirts.

  3. I tend to gravitate more towards classic pieces, with mixing in a trendy piece here or there. I'm also wishing for a leather jacket to pair with all my girly dresses :)

  16. I'm starting to get the same feeling about classic pieces - trendy ones are ephemeral and you see them everywhere. Love the skirt & jacket you picked.
