For anybody who has been following this blog for a while now, you might remember that I used to constantly make video blogs of what was going on in my life. I would edit all of the pieces together and put some type of background music to it. I haven't done this in so long but I decided to make a post dedicated to these so I would have them all together.

Watching this is so bittersweet because so many people in these videos I'm not even friends with anymore. I always wonder what would be different if what had happened between those people never happened but it's too late to wonder because it's been years, for the most part. All I know is that the negative parts in my life shaped me in to the person that I am today and I have to accept that, otherwise there would be no moving on. Also, I know that there's a reason that certain people make it to our future.

I'm not angry or upset for friendships that didn't last, I know now, for the most part, we were young and maybe didn't really think about what was truly important in our lives or how short life is at the time. Anyways, just wanted these documented for myself. Feel free to take a look at any of them, although I will warn you I am incredibly dorky and can not dance or sing. Haha. I would like to think i get better at it as I get older, but nope, that never happened. Haha.

  1. This is really cool. I wish I had a video camera when I was younger, I used to be hilarious. I do have one video I made when I was 16. I should share it.

    Thanks for posting. :)

  2. Love this. I know what you mean about the whole bittersweet thing. It's amazing how many people I've lost contact with since high school.

  3. Haha, these are adorable! This totally inspires me to make video's right now, because I just started highschool this year, and it would be really fun to look back on them when I'm older. Thank you so much for posting these! <3

  4. This is so neat that you created vlogs of your life at different times. I totally understand, people I was friends with even two years ago I barely speak to anymore. It seems to be the way things go.

  5. I know. I have gained and shed so many friends... but like you- I don't regret any of it... It made me who I am.
And I have been following forever... and you have really changed... or grown up. :)
    You are super gorgeous.

  6. I am going to watch these videos now. Isn't it crazy how times change and people leave your life? It is very bittersweet.

  7. I'm definitely going to have to come back and watch these! They're not working on my phone right now. And I think you should make another one!! :)

  8. I use to feel the same way. So many people have come and gone. Just know its for a reason and NEW people will enter. Think of them as fond times, embrace who is here now and look forward to the future. :) Have an awesome weekend!

  9. great videos :) that must have been lots of work, they are super cool

  10. Cute idea! Friendships come & go your whole life, unfortunately. I "broke up" with one of my bridesmaids - someone I thought would be a friend for life - 5 months after our wedding. Things happen, people change. If someone isn't making a positive impact on your life, why keep them around? But I always know there is a reason certain people are still in my life, & a reason others aren't.

    Have a great weekend girl!

  11. I often look through old photographs and feel a bit sad about the friends that i no longer know.
but theres all the people i know now, and the people im still yet to meet! :)

  12. this is so lovely :)

  13. i loved watching this videos! it reminds me of my friends and i when we were in middle school we would do videos like this. i know exactly how you feel about the bittersweet of looking back and seeing yourself with people you are no longer friends with, i've been through the same. love your blog!
