Gossip Girl Inspiration

(Cardigan-Old Navy $7.99 sale, Tank-Target $1.99 sale, Belt-Wal Mart, Necklace-Forever 21, Skirt-Target $2.99 sale, Socks-Target $3.99 sale, Shoes-Target)

If any of you have ever seen the show "Gossip Girl", you can probably tell that's where I got my inspiaration for today's outfit. I was really afraid to wear this school girl skirt for a while, but I found a way to make it look stylish. What do you think?

I hope you all had a great Friday! Mine went relatively well until I went to the mall to get job applications and literally every single story only hired 18 or older! How am I supposed to have time to save up for college if I have to wait to get a job till I'm 18!? I don't really understand why you have to be 18 to work in a clothing store yet you can be 16 and work in food. Guess I'm going to have to suck it up and apply to some fast food joints. Ick.

  3. I really really love this outfit, however, it would look even better without the belt in my opinion! Or you could opt for a skinnier belt!

  10. aww, bummer! i remember that you do have to be 18 for a lot of places; however, if there is a gymboree where you are (kids' clothing store in the mall), they hire 16-yer-olds! i used to work at one in dallas when i was in high school.

  20. Your outfit is really cute! I really like the skirt! Good luck on the job front. I think most places that require you working with money will only hire 18 or older, unfortunately.
