The Start of a Decade....Part 2

So, here's the second part of how my year went. This will be July-December. Sorry for the photo overload. Haha. Remember to let me know if you decide to do a post like this!

This month was filled with random, fun hangouts with friends and Derek. A mini golfing trip with the tennis team. A mini welcome back part for my friend who was in Europe for a few weeks (3rd photo). A trip to Ocean City with one of my best friends for half of a week, and a trip to Virginia Beach with my family.

This month I started to fall even more for Derek. I went to Philadelphia for the first time and fell in love-that's when I decided that's where I wanted to go to college at. I got closer to 3 amazing people because of how I had lost those two previous friends. I had a HUGE end of the summer party and I started my senior year at the very end of the month. I also realized how truly happy I was with my life in this month.

I went to Hershey Park with Derek. I got even closer to those 3 friends. I had another huge bonfire.

I got to see Gretchen Wilson, Jerrod Neiman, The Band Perry and a few of my other favorite country artists. I started tennis my freshman year with one of my best friends and we finally had our senior night. I went to Pittsburg and loved it, I then realized it would be a hard choice between Philly and Pittsburg. I had my senior homecoming. Derek and I picked out a pumpkin to carve. My little brother turned 16.

We had our sports banquet and it was sad realizing it would be my last one to go to. Derek took me on a date for ice cream even though it was freezing outside. I met Julianne Hough and I was in a lot of newspapers and on TV because of how excited I was. Haha.

I baked a lot of cookies in this month. I got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Derek and he got me an amazing gift. My mom turned 38 and my dad stuck a sparkler in her cake. Derek and I had to work on a physics video about optical instruments so my friends, Derek and I dressed up like we were from the 50's to base it back then.

I think 2010 was my favorite year so far. I got so close to so many amazing people. I made best friends with the best possible people. I got a lot of cool opportunities. I explored my freedom. And I had the time of my life.

PS: Here's two video blogs. The first one is from the end of 2009/beginning of 2010, the second one is from the middle of 2010. You can really see the difference in how I matured between the two of them. Haha. I need to make a new one!

  5. lovely lovely year!!
I love your black off the shoulder dress
    it's so classy and pretty!

Pittsburgh is beautiful, I drove through it once on my way to OHIO.. but seriously... there's nothing like Philadelphia.

night life, culture, rittenhouse square, even south phily is a beautiful area to explore.

I take the train, subway, bus into the worst part of north philly and I've been left alone so far (Do I stand out like a sore thumb.. yes).

What Philly schools are you looking at?

If we're not already following you then I'm going to do it now.
