Happiness-What I Want in This Year


My number one goal for 2011 is to be happy. I am going to be going through some major changes when I graduate and move away from home to go to college in the city. It's going to be difficult but I never want to forget my happiness. That's my one, true resolution of the year.
Here are some other things I would like to work on to reach my happiness!

Physical Health:
  • Excercise daily, even if it's just for 30 minutes a day.
    • Try to get a variety of cardio, pilates, etc.
  • Eat healthy
    • Not necessarily all the time, but try to keep my overall diet relatively good.
  • Get enough sleep!
    • Atleast 7 hours a night 
  • Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
    • Maybe this will help me terrible acne? haha.
Mental Health:
  • Try doing yoga 3 times a week.
  • Read 3 books a month
    • Try to mix it up from just fiction to biographies, autobiographies, etc.
  • Laugh as much as possible.
    • Laughter is the best medicine.
  • Love myself the way I am, think positvely.
  • Live everyday to it's fullest and enjoy every minute of it.
    • Except that there are going to be bad days and move on. Life is too short.
  • Make time for myself, but also for others.
  • Seriously. Stop procrastinating! Haha.
  • Learn as much as I can.
  • Always try my best.
    • Even when my best isn't good enough, accept it and move on.
  • Be friendly to everybody, even strangers.
  • Help out with charity organizations when possible.
  • Continue with blogging.
  • Create an "inspiration" book.
  • Take photos and videos as much as possible.
  • A video blog every 2-3 months maybe?
  • Graduate.
  • Get my license.
  • Get a job before I leave for college.
  • Clean more.
  • Start reading the Bible.
  • Learn how to play guitar. (This is my 3rd year in a row to say this haha)
So, even though it's not broken down by month, I guess this is my happiness project. I really want to become a more healthy, happy, and loving person. That's my goal for 2011. What are yours?

By the way, I will change the blog from it's "Christmasy" look this weekend. (I know, depressing!) I also plan on having more outfit posts. And, did you know that my goal for followers by the end of this year was 50? And now I almost have 150! Thank you so so much, that means a lot.

As a nice ending to 2010 I created a video blog from clips from July to now. Enjoy. :-)

  2. Omg,I need to pick up my act and start exercising this year too!

    I'll be going through quite a few chnages this year as well, so I'm really hoping everything works out well and HAPPY :)
