Everybody should listen to this...

Sorry for the week long delay in posting! I've been away all week long. I don't really have any outfit shots due to all of the running around but here's a blog post about one of my favorite songs! :)

“Who I Am” By Jessica Andrews
I have always loved this song for many different reasons. But lately I have grown to love it even more, it seems to fit really well.
Because I have realized that I really do know who I am. And lately I have been feeling so blessed for all the people that care about me in my life. I have so many real friends that have really been there for me these past few weeks. I also have a boyfriend who has really been there for me. And that boyfriend knows that he isn’t “my whole life”. And he still loves me, the important thing is that he loves me for me. Not one person is “my whole life” each person in my life has such a special place that not one person could mean more than the other.
And my grandmother isn’t named Rosemary, but my great grandmother who just passed is. And I am proud to be her great-granddaughter and I continue to miss her more and more everyday. But I know whenever I am going through a tough situation she is watching over me in heaven, along with my Big Pop.
And it’s no secret that I am clueless and clumsy. Some of the people I know critisize me for being so clueless and naive. But what’s wrong with that? There’s nothing stopping me from fulfilling my dreams in life. And if I get hurt (which I have a lot recently) it just makes me the person I am going to be. But those people who hurt me are never, ever going to slow me down. And that’s what I think it important.
I can honestly say that I don’t mind making mistakes.
And I can say even if my heart gets broken I will be okay in the end, I know I will.
I can say that I am a strong person.
And that is who I am.

Lyrics:
“If I live to be a hundred

And never see the seven wonders

That’ll be alright

If I don’t make it to the big leagues

If I never win a Grammy

I’m gonna be just fine

Cause I know exactly who I am

I am Rosemary’s granddaughter

The spitting image of my father

And when the day is done my momma’s still my biggest fan

Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy

But I’ve got friends that love me

And they know just where I stand

It’s all a part of me

And that’s who I am

So when I make a big mistake

And when I fall flat on my face

I know I’ll be alright

Should my tender heart be broken

I will cry those teardrops knowing

I will be just fine

Cause nothing changes who I am

I am Rosemary’s granddaughter

The spitting image of my father

And when the day is done my momma’s still my biggest fan

Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy

But I’ve got friends that love me

And they know just where I stand

It’s all a part of me

And that’s who I am

I’m a saint and I’m a sinner

I’m a loser; I’m a winner

I am steady and unstable

I’m young, but I am able

I am Rosemary’s granddaughter

The spitting image of my father

And when the day is done my momma’s still my biggest fan

Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy

But I’ve got friends that love me

And they know where I stand

It’s all a part of me

And that’s who I am

I am Rosemary’s granddaughter

The spitting image of my father

And when the day is done my momma’s still my biggest fan

Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy

But I’ve got friends that love me

And they know where I stand

It’s all a part of me

And that’s who I am

That’s who I am”
